I was so excited to finally get some personal questions during my last Q&A. But after reading most of them, I realized that I haven’t shared too much information about myself with you guys. To break the ice and connect a little bit, I thought I’d share five facts about me that most of you probably didn’t know.
I got my first job at fifteen. I started out as a dance teacher and was able to move up to director of the ministry by the time I was seventeen. Dance was definitely my first love and being able to teach all age groups and share my passion was one of the best things that could have happened to me.
I was homeschooled my whole life. And it was the best thing for me. My mom was my teacher from kindergarten all the way up until I graduated high school. Because it was just me and my brother, we got to go at our own pace, schedule, and classes! If I didn’t have that opportunity, I would not have been able to graduate two years early and be on the path I am now.
I met my husband when I was 12. I met Drew when I was still in middle school at our homeschool co-op. For me, it was love at first sight, lots of tweenage, weird stalking, and not long after, an awesome friendship. Two years later we confessed our feelings and the rest is history!
I have a puppy named Jax. Who turned a year old this month! We got him when he was almost two months old and only after months of begging Drew to let us get a dog. I quickly found out that having a puppy isn’t easy. Especially when you live in a fourth floor apartment. But we love him all the same!
I currently have sixteen piercings. But overall, I have had a total of nineteen. I love my piercings, they are so fun and so me. They’re unique and I genuinely think they are so beautiful.
I guess I’m not as boring as I thought, haha.
